Before the van, before the mobile service — Alley Auto was built one repair at a time in a house garage, with factory service manuals and a commitment to doing things right.
Mobile service, wherever you need it.
At 17 years old, John took his 1989 Honda Accord to a chain repair shop for ball joint work. The shop told him they would not complete the repair unless he also paid for an alignment, so he agreed, trusting their recommendation.
While he waited, John watched the technician finish the ball joint work. He then saw the car remain on the lift for nearly an hour. Eventually, the shop returned his keys and charged him for both the repair and the alignment. John left the shop believing the alignment had been performed.
Two years later, John called the same shop to get a price quote for an alignment on another vehicle. The employee informed him that the location did not perform alignments at all and had never offered that service. That conversation led John to realize he had been charged for a service that was never done and that he had been taken advantage of while trusting the professionals working on his car.
That experience changed everything.
Determined to never let it happen again, John began teaching himself automotive repair by studying factory service manuals and repair books cover to cover. That experience ultimately shaped the philosophy behind Alley Auto.
Customers deserve honesty, transparency, and the ability to see exactly what is being done to their vehicle.
Every repair is performed openly and transparently. There are no hidden work areas, no confusing upsells, and no wondering what you are paying for. Just honest repairs, clear communication, and workmanship you can see for yourself.
At Alley Auto, our mission is to redefine the auto repair experience through transparency, integrity, and high-quality workmanship in an industry often associated with mistrust. We communicate clearly, perform dependable repairs, and keep customer care at the center of every decision. Our goal is to reshape the culture of auto repair and earn lasting trust with every client we serve.
